Fishing

I caught my first fish when I was a toddler and I have been hooked on fishing ever since!

I regularly fish lakes, ponds, rivers, streams, and creeks of Upstate New York or Northern Pennsylvania. Basically if it has fish in it, I find it and fish it! I will continue to travel to other states and countries as well in the pursuit of new species and new experiences/techniques. I love shore fishing, boat fishing, kayak fishing, surf fishing, ice fishing, centerpinning and I have recently gotten into fly fishing and tenkara fishing. I am also a tackle & gear enthusiast!

I was born and raised in Western, New York. Although I was born in the city of Buffalo, my family moved to Chautauqua County shortly after I was born. Being from the city, my family gave me a special appreciation for living in the country and having the opportunity to play outside every day. I started my YouTube Channel in high school to share my passion for fishing and the outdoors with the world. My passion for fishing and the outdoors led me to pursue a degree in Fish and Wildlife from Paul Smith’s College where I graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science. During college my family relocated from Falconer to Olean, NY making Olean the home base of my YouTube videos for a number of years. Since College, I have been traveling the country working temporary jobs in the Conservation Field. I have worked in the Finger Lakes (NY), Allegany State Park (NY), South Florida, Glacier National Park (MT), the Gulf Coast of Alabama, the Cherokee National Forest (TN), the Kisatchie National Forest (LA), the Gorge Washington and Jefferson National Forest (VA and WV), and the City of Buffalo (NY).

In 2022 I finally landed a permanent full time job in Chautauqua County, New York bringing my career full-circle. It is my belief that Chautauqua County is one of the best locations in the world for multi-species freshwater fishing! In addition to fishing, Western New York and Pennsylvania is a prime location for my many other hobbies including urbex (urban exploring), metal detecting, geocaching, hiking, and camping. Not only do I want to use my YouTube Channel to encourage others to travel, I also want to encourage locals to get out and experience the amazing opportunities we have for fishing and adventures here locally. I hope my videos help you catch fish and encourage you to get outdoors.

In time I hope to make vlogging and guiding into a full time side-gig!
